Other Information:Eric Anthamatten (known to his students as "Mr. A") has been training in the Martial Arts since age seven. He was awarded his First Degree Black Belt at the age of twelve under the instruction of the great Master Al Garza (Dickinson, TX). Upon moving to College Station, TX for college, he trained under Dr. Stephen Powell and competed at that state and national levels where he won state titles in sparring and Korean forms, as well as a top five ranking on the national circuit. He has been teaching children, peers, and adults since age fifteen and continues to train (with an occasional amateur fight here and there) and teach in New York City. Currently a 5th Degree Black Belt, Master Anthamatten is versed in tae kwon do, modern arnis, hapkido, judo, weapons training, capoeira, and jui-jitsu. |
