Six Promoted to Black Belt in New York City

Manhattan Tae Kwon Do, New York City's premier martial arts school, promoted six students to the level of Black Belt on Friday June 17, 2005.

The six students have been studing the martial art of Tae Kwon Do on an average of 5 years.  They were required to perform numerous techniques as well as challenging themselves physically including successfully completing complex board breaking techniques.  The promotion exam lasted two hours was was held at the Manhattan Tae Kwon Do school located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
